Founder and principal, Lorelei Barrett, is a certified antiques appraiser, interior designer, as well as a real estate and personal property specialist.
Lorelei also has received her Short Sale and Foreclosure designation to assist buyers and sellers in the current climate of real estate and the challenges it brings

Lorelei's designs, products and advice have been featured in such publications as Country Living, Americana, Victoria, Old Stuff, and Country Pleasures magazines. She has been regularly featured on numerous television and radio shows sharing her wealth of knowledge and advice. Lorelei appears as a special lecturer at home, design and trade shows.



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Although completing her undergrad studies in 2004, and graduate studies in 2006, Lorelei has worked in the building and design trades since 1986. Her graduate thesis was formed from the tenets of phenomenology; the theory of place making and the meaning of space (you can read more about that here). Our homes are our most meaningful places. It’s where we spend our most cherished times. A home which answers our needs and desires is critical to the success of the buying process. 

FUN STUFF....

Lorelei spends her non-working hours in search of the perfect riding trail with her Appaloosa horse, Buckwheat. On frequent occasions, she can be found on local stages performing swing and bluegrass music with her fiddle (the same one on which she began playing at age 7), accompanied by her husband, Mark, on his upright double bass. Puttering around the farm with their 2 horses, 5 goats, 2 West Highland Terriers (terrors), and 5 cats brings her much joy and delight.
